About the iLibrary ProgramThe iLibrary Program is designed to bring innovative, out-of-the-box thinking to our SLCSD classrooms. The small cohort of 11 teachers represents grades K- 6, includes 2 Library Technology Teachers and serves 4 different elementary schools in the Salt Lake City School District. There were 16 hours of professional development for teachers over a period of 4 days from July to November.
There are 30 iPads in the iLibrary. Teachers who finish all the classes plus have a mentor visit their classroom with the iPads 4 times for lessons with the students will be able to check out some or all of the iPads for a week. Why iPads -
